{"id":1084,"date":"2021-05-18T17:36:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-18T17:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kada.gov.gh\/?p=1084"},"modified":"2022-02-17T17:53:15","modified_gmt":"2022-02-17T17:53:15","slug":"kadjebi-district-assembly-and-unicef-to-undertake-joint-monitoring-of-vsla-groups-in-the-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kada.gov.gh\/index.php\/kadjebi-district-assembly-and-unicef-to-undertake-joint-monitoring-of-vsla-groups-in-the-district\/","title":{"rendered":"Kadjebi District Assembly and UNICEF to undertake joint monitoring of VSLA Groups in the district"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Kadjebi District Assembly and UNICEF, Partners in the Community Led Total Sanitation Programme in the district are set to undertake a joint monitoring ogf the activities of the Village Savings and Loans (VSLA) Groups in the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VSLA is a program where members of a community come together to form associations for the purposes of savings of income to be granted as loans among themselves for the construction of household latrines and?or for business purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was made known by the Director of the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, Mr.Isaac Robson Klu at a meeting to brief the District Coordinating Director,Mr. Alhassan Sulemana, on the impending exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the team would visit a total of Six (6) Communities and a total of Eight (8) VSLAs.
