The Kadjebi District Assembly, through the Business Advisory Centre is set to monitor activities of Latrine Artisans in the district as well appraise the quality of Latrines being constructed in the various communities on Thursday, 4th of February, 2021.. This forms part of activities under the Sanitation Marketing Module (SanMark) of the Community Led Total Sanitation being funded in the district by UNICEF.
Speaking on the issue, the Head of the Centre, Ms Evelyn Drah said it was also going to inform the stakeholders from both the district and the regional level as well as UNICEF on whether the module was churning out the desired results.
She added that her department will be joined on the monitoring visit by the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development as well as Officers from the Oti Regional Environmental Health Unit.
