
The Kadjebi District Assembly led by the Hon. DCE Wilson Agbanyo on the 26th September, 2022 commissioned a 1No. 3-Unit Classroom Block with Headmaster’s Office and Staff Common Room at Ahamansu E.P. Basic School. The project which commenced on November, 2020 and completed in November, 2021 is a DACF funded project. It is geared towards improving human development, productivity and employment in the Ahamansu Traditional Area.
Hon. Wilson Agbanyo in his speech lauded the immediate past DCE; Hon. Dr. Maxwell Kofi Asiedu for his relentless efforts towards initiating the project. He went further to entreat the teachers, pupils and the community at large to ensure that the project is used optimally to help improve upon standard of education in the district especially in BECE. He encouraged the authorities to maintain the facility to prolong it’s intended use. The DCE again discouraged open defecation in and around the school.


The DCE in his concluding remarks cautioned teachers against laziness and absenteeism. He encouraged the PTA, Headteachers and other stakeholders to ensure effective monitoring and supervision in schools to help improve upon education in the district.
The District Education Directorate together with the Ahamansu Traditional Authority expressed their appreciation to government and the Assembly for project. They pledged that the facility would be put to its intended use to help improve upon education in the district. They appealed to the Assembly to support the school to connect water to the facility and also re-roof portion of the existing school block that was ripped-off by rainstorm.
