The Kadjebi Chapter of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) held its first quarter meeting and the first meeting for the year 2022 on Thursday, 7th April, 2022 at the Kadjebi District’s Assembly Hall. This meeting was graced by some Regional Executives of CLOSAG, comprising the Chairman, Secretary and Organizer.
As part of the major issues discussed at the meeting, the Kadjebi’s Chapter Chairman for CLOSAG highlighted on the purpose and the existing benefits of being a member of CLOSAG. In his speech, he further cleared the minds of the members on various misconceptions surrounding CLOSAG.
In addition to the above, the Oti Regional Chairman brought to the notice of the members some of their achievements so far during their tuner of office. A few of them include: provision of CLOSAG Secretariat located at Dambai, provision of a pick-up and office equipment.
He also mentioned that, the Oti Regional CLOSAG, through their efforts as Regional Executives has now gained the monopoly to run its own affairs without any interference. The rest of the issues for discussion included: the soon to be out doored CLOSAG media platforms, issues pertaining to CLOSAG loans and allowances and last but not the least the establishment of CLOSAG village at both Nkwanta and Dambai.
Members were notified that, CLOSAG election guidelines will be opened for district elections during the second quarter.
