Empowering Communities through Productive Inclusion: The Ghana Productive Safety Net Project 2

We are excited to announce the commencement of the Productive Inclusion sensitization program in the communities of Titiaka, Ketepi, and Mempeasem, under the auspices of the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project 2 (GPSNP2). This initiative, spearheaded by the District Assembly, aims to empower beneficiaries of the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) and Livelihood Inclusion for Persons with Disabilities (LIPW) programs to enhance their economic prospects and support their families’ livelihoods.

Components of the Program:

The Productive Inclusion component (1.2) of GPSNP2 focuses on harnessing the productive potential of LEAP and LIPW beneficiaries. It comprises three comprehensive training modules designed to equip participants with essential skills for sustainable income generation:

  1. Life Skills Management: Participants will undergo training to develop crucial life skills, including communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and resilience. These skills are fundamental for personal development and success in both personal and professional spheres.
  2. Basic Business Management Skills: This module will provide participants with foundational knowledge in business management, covering topics such as financial literacy, market analysis, customer service, and record-keeping. These skills are essential for the effective operation and growth of small businesses.
  3. Income Generating Activity Training: Tailored to individual interests and aptitudes, this specialized training module focuses on specific income-generating activities. Participants will receive practical guidance and hands-on instruction, empowering them to explore various entrepreneurial opportunities and maximize their earning potential.

Supportive Cash Grants:

Upon successful completion of the three-module training, participants will be eligible to receive a cash grant ranging from a minimum of $1 to a maximum of $250. This financial support aims to facilitate the establishment of micro-businesses by enabling participants to purchase necessary supplies and equipment, thereby kick starting their entrepreneurial journey.

Join Us in Empowering Communities:

We invite all eligible LEAP and LIPW beneficiaries in Titiaka, Ketepi, and Mempeasem to participate wholeheartedly in this trans formative program. Together, we can harness the power of productive inclusion to create sustainable livelihoods, foster economic independence, and build a brighter future for our district.
