The Management of the Kadjebi District Assembly on Tuesday, 14th April, 2026 handed over one hundred and twenty chairs to the Town and Areas Councils in the District.
The Hon. District Chief Executive, Dr. Sam Suraj Issaka officially handed over the chairs to Honorable Isaac Abavon, Chairman of the Kadjebi Town Council, who received them on behalf of all the six Town and Area Councils. The other Area Councils are Asato, Dodi, Amanta, Ahamansu, and Dodo.
These chairs are intended to assist the Councils in holding their periodic meetings, as well as facilitating other programs, important business, and various essential activities within their respective jurisdictions.
Hon. Isaac Abavon thanked Management for the chairs and indicated that the chairs will enable the Councils to meet regularly as expected.
Present at the handing over ceremony were the Hon. Presiding Member, Mr. Anthony Ahiable, the District Coordinating Director Mr. Innocent Gavua, and staffs of the Assembly.
