Kadjebi DCE Commissions 1No. 3-Unit Classroom Block with Ancillary Facilities at KASEC Model Basic School – Kadjebi

As part of the quest to improve upon human development, productivity, employment and the general socio-economic wellbeing of the people across the district, the Kadjebi District Assembly via the support of the DACF embarked on the construction of a 1No. 3-Unit Classroom Block with Ancillary Facilities at KASEC Model Basic School at Kadjebi. The project started in 2020 and was completed in 2021.   Hon. DCE, Wilson Agbanyo led the District Assembly to commission the project on Monday 26th September, 2022.

The Hon. DCE in his speech assured the school that, the Assembly would continue to strive towards putting its scarce resources to improve upon education and the lives of the people through similar initiatives. He therefore entreats the school to put the facility to good use and maintain it in order to stand the test of time and also to benefit future generations.

He further registered his displeasure at the fallen standard of education leading to poor performance especially in the BECE  across schools in the district. He also cautioned teachers against laziness and absenteeism. He called for effective teaching and learning, monitoring and supervision in schools to help improve upon the fallen standards.

The school and its Management Committee together with the Directorate of Education thanked the District Assembly for its good works. The committee pledged its support  and determination to do more towards the development of the school and education at large.
