The Kadjebi District Chief Executive, Hon Maxwell Kofi Asiedu has called on enumerators and supervisors who have been selected to take part in the 2021 population and housing census to display a high sense of purpose, dedication and professionalism in order to ensure the exercise brings out high quality data for the District and nation as a whole. He said that was necessary to ensure there was reliable data to help government and other bodies make adequate planning and other development projections.
The DCE was speaking at the closing ceremony of the Training of Enumerators and Supervisors (ToES) for the PHC which was held at the Kadjebi-Asato Senior High School (KASEC), today June 11, 2021.
Hon Asiedu advised the trainees to ensure all structures and households were listed and enumerated respectively to ensure reliable data for the District.
The District Field Supervisor (DFS) , Mr. George Beckoe, said Enumerators and Supervisors should take the training and field experiences gathered during the 11-day training workshop seriously as it would come in handy during the main exercise. He added that there were various levels of quality assurance and monitoring starting ringt from the enumeration area levels to the national headquarters and therefore advised the trainers to go about their work diligently and avoid cutting corners, adding that those caught would be dealt with severely.
The District Census Officer(DCO), Mr. Djibril Fuseini, assured trainees that their allowances would be paid latest by Saturday, June 12 2021.
