Kadjebi District Holds 65th Independence Anniversary Parade

DCE Delivering the 65th Independence Anniversary Speech

The 65th Independence Anniversary Celebration in the Kadjebi District took place in Kadjebi, the District Capital.

The celebration was graced by the member of Parliament for Kadjebi-Akan Constituency, the District Chief Executive for Kadgebi District, some Officials from the Republic of Togo, The Kadjebi Traditional Council and Heads of Religious bodies, Heads of Security Services, Ghana Education Service and the general public.

Schools within the District that feverishly rehearsed availed themselves for the match pass. The celebration was climaxed with a cultural drama which educated the public on the need to take the COVID 19 jab.

The District Chief Executive in his speech reaffirmed the government’s commitment to developing the District by selecting it as one of the Districts to benefit from the Agenda 111 health project.

He added that, His office is much aware of the accomodation challenge faced by newly posted teachers and other professionals. He therefore made a solemn pledge to have this problem resolved.

Pouring of Libation for the Commencement of the 65th Independence Anniversary

The DCE concluded his speech by entreating the Member of Parliament for the Kadgebi-Akan Constituency to vote in favour of the E-Levy when tabled before Parliament in order to internally generate revenue for the development of mother Ghana.
